A recent U.S. government report states that Y2K readiness is poor in parts of South America, Asia, and Africa. Coincidentally, these are the same regions which hold the majority of the world's primate population. When the Y2K bug hits, I theorize that monkeys will seize the opportunity to topple human governments and install simian rule. How would this monkey revolt take place? Below, we attempt to illustrate a worst-case scenario for this potentially earth-shattering situation.
