Lionel S. Key, Chief Emeritus
1906-2000

The Charlottesville Fire Department regrets to announce the death of Chief Emeritus Lionel S. Key.  Chief Key passed away on February 8, 2000.

Family visitation will take place on Friday, February 11, 2000, at Hill & Wood Funeral Home at 1st & Market Streets in Charlottesville, VA.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2000, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 500 Park Street, in Charlottesville, VA.  Interment will be at the Monticello Memory Gardens, Monticello Mountain, Rt. 53.
