This brief overview consist of the farm were I live (Cherry Grove Farm), my work (Hinde Video Services) and a look at the family genealogy (Hinde Family History).
Cherry Grove Farm: 
In 1992 I had
the opportunity to move to Cherry Grove Farm in Louisa, Virginia. The farm belongs
to H. Ray Swartz of Gaithersburg, Maryland, the nephew of the original owners... the
Boyd's. The farm was established in 1847 according to the deed and has been in the same
family for a 153 years.
Hinde Video Services: 
Hinde Video
Services started in 1985 as "Photos by Hinde". While waiting for my house to
be built in Virginia Beach I went to a local horse show with my camera and shot a few
rolls of film. The following weekend I went back with a set of proofs and some 8 x10's and
I was told that they hadn't had a photographer there in 4 or 5 years, and the rest is
history.
Hinde Family History: 
Three years ago I started tracing my family history with just my grandfathers name, his
date of birth and where he was born. Grandfather came from the Isle of Portland
which is located on the southern coast of England in the county of Dorset. To date
I have almost 1300 name in the family file going back to the mid-1600's. According to
records the Hinde name is amongest the oldest on the Isle.
