Kaitlyn, my granddaughter, was spending the day with me. After taking pictures of the addition my husband was building onto the Chafin's home, Mrs. Chafin invited us into the main house. Being the wonderful and interesting woman that she is, we went on talking and talking. Kaitlyn, though very well behaved, became clearly bored and silently protested. I noticed, of course, and was delighted at her pose...standing where I was, I snapped the shot. In reality, she started to smile before I got the photo, but I painted the original expression.
