C. D. Wright lives outside of Providence. She has published eleven collections of poetry, most recently Steal Away: Selected and New Poems, and One Big Self: Prisoners of Louisiana with photographer Deborah Luster. She is married to poet Forrest Gander. Both are on the faculty at Brown University. They have a son, Brecht. And a greyhound, Jackie. (Photo by Forrest Gander)
