David Burak:

David Burak is the author of three chapbooks of poetry, including Celebration after the Discovery of a Premature Burial and The Dualist, for which A. R. Ammons provided the cover art. He is also the coordinator of The Theater of Ideas, through which he has helped arrange lectures and has conducted local-access television interviews with a broad spectrum of scholars, writers, and public figures, ranging from Jorge Luis Borges and Wole Soyinka to Daniel Ellsberg and M. H. Abrams. He teaches English at Santa Monica College and lives in Santa Monica, California.
