Copyright InformationBelow are the images used in this Web site, their presumed copyright holders, and links to their Web sites. Note: Via e-mail, I have obtained permission from Rodger MacGowan, GMT's Art Director, to use the images gathered below under the GMT Games logo; from Dr. Christopher Cummins, the owner of Decision Games, permission to use the Fire & Movement logo and images on the Web site; and from John Kisner, founder of Zone of Control, the permission to use the text and images gathered below under the Zone of Control logo.
{Clicking on the image above will take you to GMT's Web site.} Note: There are actually a variety of copyright holders of
the images just below: GMT Games, Rodger B. MacGowan, and RBM Studio. In light of
the facts that (i) GMT Games holds the overall copyright on the game
and (ii) that Rodger B. MacGowan is the Art Director for GMT Games and (I
presume) the principal artist at RBM Studio, I have grouped all of these images
under the GMT heading. I do not thereby intend to obscure whatever legal differences
among the various copyright holders exists.
{Clicking on the image above will take you to the Fire & Movement portion of the Web site of Decision Games. (Decision Games owns Fire & Movement.)} The text and images from Fire & Movement are used with permission of Dr. Christopher Cummins.

{Clicking on the image above will take you to a Web site for Zone of Control. The magazine itself has ceased publication, but ZOC founder John W. Kisner offers back issues and plans to continue to pen reviews.} The text and images from Zone of Control magazine are used with permission of John W. Kisner. Note: The Avalon Hill Game Company has been acquired by Hasbro, Inc., which apparently does not intend to continue publication of The General, and Zone of Control appears to be moribund. I am assuming that Zone of Control, Inc., retained ( and continues to retain) the copyright to all Zone of Control material published at all times.

{Clicking on the image above will take you to the Web site of The Avalon Hill Game Company, now a part of Hasbro, Inc.}
The Struggle of Nations cover Copyright © 1981 The Avalon Hill Game Company. (The artwork is by Rodger MacGowan.) It seems likely that The Avalon Hill Game Company transferred all copyrights to Hasbro upon Hasbro's 1998 acquisition of The Avalon Hill Game Company, in which case Hasbro would be the current copyright-holder. |
