Experience You Can Use

Since 1972 Jane Rafal has been a book editor, publishing production director, and editorial company vice president. She graduated from Connecticut College, and has been on staff at New York City publishers Viking-Penguin, Prentice-Hall, Crown, and Hayden Books, and the Editorial Department.

Her experience includes manuscript evaluation of fiction and non-fiction, ghostwriting, book proposals, professional line-editing, polishing, and rewriting. She also handles book production from manuscript to bound books, if you wish to self-publish.

Her nationwide writing workshops on dialogue, plot and characterization teach writers to edit their own work.

In today's difficult publishing climate your manuscript must be perfect to get noticed. Jane Rafal and her staff of professional editors can help you make your manuscript dazzling.

Here's what a few satisfied authors had to say:

"Your comments and suggestions taught me as much about writing fiction as year-long courses at Columbia taught me about the law."

"With you as my editor/instructor, I feel like a rookie baseball player who makes it to the major leagues and finds that Ted Williams is his batting instructor."

"You are not only a skilled but also talented editor. The further I went with the revision, the more comfortable I felt with your line-editing and editorial advice."
