News
2/8/03--It's been a looong time since my last update. A baby daughter will do that to you. The great news is that Tram is a Tiger once again. I'll see him in Baltimore on May 5th. I'm trying to keep up with the 2002 and 2003 issues, but am not actively collecting them. I had major problems with the card companies in the last years of Tram's playing career, and I find them even more objectionable now. Cutting up bats and jerseys is criminal, IMO, and the constant barrage of standard, gold, platinum, etc., issues is too much for me to chase. 10/2/00--I was contacted this weekend by a friend of the Trammell family who asked why I don't devote some of my site to explaining how great a dad Tram is. If he is as nice in private as he is at the ballpark, then he must be an absolutely incredible dad. BUT, I do not feel that my site is intended for a study of the Trammell family. I hope that if he sees this site, Tram likes it. I also hope that he (and anyone else reading this) knows that I absolutely respect his privacy at home and would never publish any private information (even if I knew it, but I only know what the press guides tell me). I see enough sports figures and celebrities dragged through the public eye, and do not want to add to the problem. This site is intended as a celebration of the career of my favorite ballplayer. It will not share any information about what he does away from his public duties. I would happily accept the help and advice of anyone (including the Trammell family) with information concerning Tram's career. I will not accept information that I feel invades his privacy and the privacy of his family.
8/11/00--I was in Philadelphia last night for the Padres 15-3 beating of the Phillies. Tram signed a ball for me and I got some good pictures. Here are three. (1) (2) (3)
