I'd like to extend a big "Thank You" to Dr. Lance Kearns and everyone else involed, for the great job and all their hard work on JMU Mineral Museum - Virgina's Undiscovered Treasure for the public! The grand opening was on Sat. Oct. 13 and was a great gathering of fellow rock and mineral enthusiast (rockhounds). If you were not able to attend you missed a great tiime, but you will want to get by check it out. The public is welcome to view it Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
