14749 Khz. This is a pulsing signal that sweeps across about a 400hz. bandwidth. The station can be heard transmitting during most of the daylight hours here.
This signal with it's sweeping characteristic resembles a relatively high speed fax signal. However, the actual modulation appears the same for each pulse, or so the fax image would imply.
Is it some form of analog telemetry? Kind of unlikely. What then, is it?
  • Here's a 124k wav file of the signal, mono 8 bit.
