The Rules Never transmit on 145.85 (the uplink) unless you can clearly hear the downlink. Do not use excessive power. Five watts is the guideline for a non-directional antenna. As little as 100mw will be sufficient with a high efficiency directional antenna.  The two watts of output of the typical hand-held transceiver is enough. Be courteous and allow QSO's to finish before making a call. Only transmit in the FM mode. Packet   use on this satellite is frowned on.
