  GIFTS TO MAKE

  A picture book: Cut out photos from magazines, paste them to paper, and apply contact paper to cardboard for a book cover.
  

  Cloth book: Cut out fabric shapes of trees, etc., and applique to contrasting fabric background. Stitch edges of pages with zigzag stitch. Each scene will need its own piece of fabric, so you will sew the wrong sides together with zigzag stitch.
