based in Northern Virginia, this organization serves the mid-Atlantic and
New England states.

particularly well-done breed rescue Web site.

Greyhound Pets of America -- GPA is a non-profit
national organization dedicated to finding good homes for retired racing greyhounds
(Greyhounds generally retire between the ages of 3 to 5 and have a natural lifespan
of 12 years or more).

Placements -- located in Green County, SNIPs (the "Spay-Neuter Incentive Program")
partly specializes in offering retired greyhounds for adoption. This page also has

links to animal shelters and breed rescue organizations available. If you don't
