The phrase "holistic ministry" isn't new to anyone long associated with Abundant Life Ministries. It means addressing the needs of whole people and, when fleshed out, means holding programs five days a week, four evenings a week (and many weekends). Almost 100 children and more than 100 volunteers are involved in weekly meetings – tutoring, mentoring, eating dinners together, learning the Bible, playing basketball, going on field trips, praying, and just hanging out together.
